Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai tribal-hybrid engine commanded by Maralen, Fae Ascendant. It combines efficient early Elf mana ramp with Faerie flash synergies to dominate the tempo of the game. By pairing Maralen with untap engines like Seedborn Muse and Murkfiend Liege alongside flash enablers such as High Fae Trickster and Leyline of Anticipation, the deck plays on every opponent's turn. Each Elf or Faerie entering triggers Maralen to exile opponents' libraries and cast their spells for free without paying mana costs. As the board grows with evasive tokens from Alela, Cunning Conqueror and Faerie Formation, the deck converts its card and mana surplus into a decisive combat victory using mass pump effects like Tyvar, the Pummeler and Cultivator of Blades. While vulnerable to mass exile wipes, its layered card draw and strong functional redundancy provide rapid recovery and sustained late-game pressure.
