Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mardu Knight-tribal and Equipment aggro strategy helmed by Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale. The deck's primary objective is to curve out with efficient early Knights and two-mana mana rocks, establish high-impact Equipment on the battlefield, and resolve Syr Gwyn on Turn 5. Once Gwyn resolves, her static ability waives equip costs entirely for Knights, enabling massive tempo swings by attaching heavy artifacts like Colossus Hammer, Argentum Armor, and Kaldra Compleat for zero mana. Attacking with equipped creatures triggers Syr Gwyn's card draw engine to sustain hand size and continuously deploy threats. The deck closes the game through lethal combat steps bolstered by double strike from Kinsbaile Cavalier and token swarms from Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Forth Eorlingas!. While lethal in sustained combat, the deck is reliant on its 6-mana commander to bypass steep equip costs and lacks stack interaction against fast combo strategies.
