Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black lifegain and reanimator strategy helmed by Moseo, Vein's New Dean. Moseo generates a 1/1 Pest token that gains life whenever it attacks, meeting the condition for Moseo's Infusion ability to return creature cards from the graveyard to the battlefield at the end of each turn. The deck leverages incidental lifegain sources, self-mill, and sacrifice outlets to continuously recycle high-impact creatures. As the game develops, recurring threats such as Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Overseer of the Damned, and Voracious Fell Beast apply steady life-drain and attrition. Late-game finishers like Army of the Damned and Mirkwood Bats convert broad token generation into lethal bursts of damage across the entire table.
