Deck overview

This deck is a specialized creature-storm combo deck led by Animar, Soul of Elements. The primary strategy focuses on deploying Animar on Turn 2 or 3 using low-cost mana dorks like Birds of Paradise and Llanowar Elves. Once Animar is on the battlefield, sequential low-cost creature casts accumulate +1/+1 counters, drastically reducing the generic mana costs of subsequent creature spells. The deck achieves an immediate victory by casting Ancestral Statue with four counters on Animar; the Statue costs zero mana and repeatedly returns itself to hand to generate infinite counters and creature cast triggers. These triggers draw the entire library through pieces like Beast Whisperer or Guardian Project, culminating in a lethal Walking Ballista deployment that eliminates all opponents on the spot. Innate protection from white and black combined with low-cost countermagic shields the combo from common interaction.
