The Ruinous Powers - Warhammer 40,000 Commander by SirDeLight

Format: Commander

Commander: Abaddon the Despoiler

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Abaddon the Despoiler is the engine: the deck converts each opponent's life loss into a cascade window, then uses cascade to deploy an army of Demons and Astartes threats. Geyadrone Dihada is the best enabler, draining every opponent by 2 to raise the cascade threshold. Combat pressure and Warstorm Surge turn those cascaded demons into direct damage; Herald of Slaanesh gives them haste and discounts the top end. There is no true hidden commander; Ultimecia offers a slow extra-turn payoff, while the deck's secondary path is Geyadrone's theft and planeswalker ultimate. The plan is to out-value and out-tempo opponents with repeated cascade bursts rather than a deterministic combo.
