Deck overview

This five-color midrange deck is led by Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., who uses his Power-up ability to dig seven cards deep and cheat powerful Hero, Equipment, and Vehicle permanents directly onto the battlefield. The deck blends comic-themed Heroes and Villains into a resilient creature strategy that leverages Connive mechanics, +1/+1 counters, and combat buffs. Key payoffs like The Incredible Hulk, Captain America, Wings of Freedom, and The Thing, Ben Grimm apply heavy combat pressure. High-quality single-target removal spells like Assassin's Trophy and Swords to Plowshares keep opposing threats in check, while flash-protection creatures like Selfless Spirit and Captain America, Unbowed safeguard the board against sweepers. Although the deck lacks infinite combos or fast lockouts, its high card quality and redundant board protection make it a durable midrange contender.
