Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed Gruul Goblin aggressive-combo engine commanded by Grumgully, the Generous. The primary game plan accelerates mana on Turns 1 and 2 to deploy Grumgully on Turn 3, ensuring every subsequent non-Human creature enters with an immediate +1/+1 counter buff. On Turn 4, the deck pivots into an overwhelming must-answer threat by dropping explosive token engines like Krenko, Mob Boss, stacking the library with Goblin Recruiter, or resolving devastating damage multipliers like Shared Animosity and Purphoros, God of the Forge. By Turn 5, it closes the game across all three opponents through massive combat damage, direct group burn, or the infinite hasty token combo of Conspicuous Snoop copying Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker. While vulnerable to well-timed creature sweepers, the list features potent resilience, swift recovery, and complete independence from its commander.
