Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Abzan aristocrats and infinite combo shell piloted by Ghave, Guru of Spores. The strategy revolves around intertwining +1/+1 counter distribution and token generation. Ghave acts as a modular mana and counter converter from the command zone, creating infinite loops with sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar or Phyrexian Altar alongside counter/token multipliers such as Cathars' Crusade, Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest, or Doubling Season. Secondary loops utilizing Basking Broodscale or Scurry Oak with Rosie Cotton of South Lane operate completely independently of the commander. The deck leverages high-efficiency black and green tutors to assemble its components by turns 4 to 5. Once an infinite loop is initiated, drain outlets including Zulaport Cutthroat, Mirkwood Bats, and Slimefoot, the Stowaway extinguish the entire table instantly without passing priority, while Concordant Crossroads provides immediate combat kills.
