Deck overview

This 5-color deck is built under a strict all-creature nonland construction constraint, running 66 creatures and 33 lands. Commanded by Kenrith, the Returned King, the deck turns its restriction into an asymmetric advantage by deploying hatebears like Gaddock Teeg, Kataki, War's Wage, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, and Ruric Thar, the Unbowed to paralyze opposing noncreature spells, artifact mana, and sweepers. Meanwhile, creature draw engines like Chulane, Teller of Tales, Beast Whisperer, and Sages of the Anima provide card velocity. The deck transitions into the mid-to-late game by deploying massive threats including Kogla, the Titan Ape, Silverback Elder, and Zacama, Primal Calamity. Kenrith acts as a versatile mana sink from the command zone, providing trample, haste, buffs, life gain, card draw, and reanimation to eliminate opponents across consecutive combat phases while dense graveyard engines shrug off board wipes.
