Deck overview

This non-green control deck uses Jace, Multiverse Architect as a reliable polymorph outlet in the command zone. The game plan focuses on deploying cheap token producers like Skrelv's Hive and Dreadhorde Invasion alongside 2-CMC mana rocks on early turns. On Turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and uses his -3 loyalty ability to exile a disposable token, revealing cards from the library to cheat a massive game-ending creature or planeswalker directly onto the board. Payoffs include devastating Praetors, Dragons, and Angels such as Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Archon of Cruelty, Balefire Dragon, and Serra's Emissary. A suite of pillowfort enchantments like Propaganda and Norn's Annex protects Jace's loyalty from combat damage. While the deck lacks instant two-card combos, its recurring threat deployment and heavy combat pressure reliably close games around Turn 7.
