Format: Commander

Commander: Zedruu the Greathearted

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Zedruu the Greathearted leads a Jeskai control strategy centered on giving away disruptive and debilitating permanents. By donating cards like Steel Golem, Pyromancer's Swath, and Aggressive Mining to opponents, the deck restricts enemy resources while fueling Zedruu's upkeep ability to draw cards and gain life. The deck protects itself using pillowfort permanents such as Pramikon, Sky Rampart, Delaying Shield, and Solemnity. Once a massive card advantage engine is established, the deck transitions into its win conditions. It closes games by assembling an infinite damage loop with Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind and Body of Knowledge, or through widespread life drain with Psychosis Crawler.
