Assassinate by artisticviking

Format: Commander

Commander: Ezio Auditore da Firenze

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a five-color Assassin tribal deck helmed by Ezio Auditore da Firenze, built around his alternate win condition: reduce an opponent to 10 or less life, connect with Ezio for combat damage, and pay {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} to eliminate them outright. The life-reduction package - Sorin Markov, Virtus the Veiled, Unstoppable Slasher, Quietus Spike, and Tree of Perdition - sets up the kill, while Ezio's freerunning grant lets Assassins be cast for {B}{B} after any hit, dumping hands of cheap tribal bodies. The deck also wins through combat with the Assassin tribe (menace, deathtouch, and lords like Achilles Davenport and Arno Dorian) and via Ramses, Assassin Lord's alternate win, which fires when Ezio eliminates a player. A dense interaction suite of six counterspells and free spells protects the kill turn.
