BOB DO SOMETHING! by chonkybear

Format: Commander

Commander: Bob, Reluctant HYDRA Agent

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-black Villain tribal midrange deck helmed by Bob, Reluctant HYDRA Agent. The plan is to flood the board with menace Villain tokens, stack life-gain triggers that ping the table, and close through repeated drain effects and combat. Bob is a cheap, recursive life-swing piece when he attacks alone, but the 99 carries the real engine: token makers, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Exsanguinate, and drain payoffs like Marauding Blight-Priest and Starscape Cleric. Secondary pressure comes from historic-spell pings (Cabal Paladin), Plan enchantments that convert board presence into life loss and value, and late K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth acceleration. There are no infinite combo lines; the deck wins by attrition, devotion drains, and go-wide menace combat.
