Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Azorius Voltron and tempo saboteur strategy commanded by Wraith, Vicious Vigilante. Wraith's innate combination of unblockability and double strike allows it to bypass blockers completely while doubling the value of combat damage triggers and power buffs. The deck accelerates Wraith into play on Turn 2 or 3, immediately attaching saboteur Auras like Curiosity and Combat Research to draw two cards per combat step. It then rapidly transitions to a lethal clock by cheating heavy equipment such as Colossus Hammer into play using Sigarda's Aid or Puresteel Paladin, boosting Wraith to an 11/11 that deals 22 lethal commander damage in a single unblockable swing. To safeguard its single-threat strategy, the list runs an elite suite of free and low-cost interaction, including Fierce Guardianship, Force of Will, Flawless Maneuver, and Teferi's Protection, alongside Grand Abolisher to shut down opposing responses during critical combat turns.
