Hydaelyn's Super Heroes by user9593711

Format: Commander

Commander: Venat, Heart of Hydaelyn // Hydaelyn, the Mothercrystal

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-white legendary-value deck is built around Venat, Heart of Hydaelyn as a turn-three draw engine: each turn's first legendary spell draws an extra card while the deck builds a board of Heroes, demigods, and legendary enchantments. Life gain is the secondary engine, turning every heal into +1/+1 counters through Heliod and Archangel of Thune. Hydaelyn, the Mothercrystal is a late-game upgrade rather than the main plan; after Venat exiles a nonland permanent, the indestructible god pumps one legendary each combat and draws an extra card. Wins come from overwhelming combat, an asymmetric Urza's Ruinous Blast, or Test of Endurance once life passes 50. There is no hidden commander; Yoshimaru is just an early legendary in the 99.
