Squirrel - Chatterfang by user3732036

Format: Commander

Commander: Chatterfang, Squirrel General

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari token-aristocrats deck built around Chatterfang, Squirrel General, turning every token the deck makes into extra Squirrels and then sacrificing that mass for mana, cards, drain, and removal. The primary kill is an exponential Squirrel loop using The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Ashnod's Altar, and any drain payoff such as Blood Artist, with Chatterfang, Squirrel General or Parallel Lives supplying the token-doubling replacement needed to grow the loop. Backup wins are wide-combat beats through Beastmaster Ascension and Deep Forest Hermit, explosive token bursts from Second Harvest and Academy Manufactor, and death-trigger drain from Zulaport Cutthroat, Mirkwood Bats, and The Meathook Massacre. The deck wants to out-value the table early, then either grind opponents out with sacrifice triggers or pivot into the One Squirrel loop for a compressed kill.
