Deck overview

Vihaan, Goldwaker leads an aggressive Mardu deck that weaponizes Treasure tokens as both rapid mana acceleration and an agile combat army. By granting Outlaws haste and vigilance, Vihaan transforms accumulated Treasures into 3/3 Construct Assassins each combat without sacrificing their ability to tap for mana later. The deck builds an early resource surplus through low-cost Outlaw generators like Lotho, Corrupt Shirriff, Captain Lannery Storm, and Grim Hireling, supported by engines like Black Market Connections and Smothering Tithe. Once a critical mass of tokens is assembled, the deck pivots into decisive combat swings backed by double strike and stat counters, or channels vast mana stores into lethal X-spells including Torment of Hailfire and Crackle with Power. Free protection spells like Deflecting Swat and Flawless Maneuver guard the commander during crucial combat windows, while flexible interaction controls opposing threats. The strategy offers explosive mid-game lethality, strong recovery, and diverse finishing routes.
