Deck overview

This Grixis deck operates as a discard-focused group slug and attrition engine helmed by Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin. The deck uses early turns to establish mana rocks and passive discard punishers such as Waste Not, Liliana's Caress, and Megrim. Once Kefka enters on turn 4 or 5, its enters-the-battlefield and attack triggers force all players to discard cards while generating substantial card advantage based on the unique card types discarded. Wheels like Dark Deal and Windfall rapidly deplete opposing hands and deal burst damage, while stax-like punishers like Oppression and Painful Quandary prevent opponents from rebuilding. The deck leverages high attrition, combat damage, and an alternate Dualcaster Mage plus Ghostly Flicker infinite combo to close the game around turn 7.
