Deck overview

This Rakdos cEDH deck leverages Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin as both a high-velocity card advantage engine and a lethal combo outlet. Powered by a dense suite of fast mana artifacts and dark rituals, the deck routinely deploys Ob Nixilis on Turn 2. It turns any instance of exactly 1 damage to an opponent into an impulse draw and a +1/+1 counter. The primary win line pairs Ob Nixilis with Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute, establishing a deterministic, infinite damage loop that finishes the entire table on Turn 3. Robust backup win conditions include Underworld Breach freeze-lines, Ad Nauseam, and Agatha's Soul Cauldron exiling Walking Ballista. Protected by Hexing Squelcher, Vexing Bauble, and free redirection spells like Deflecting Swat, the deck combines lightning-fast combo speed with resilient stack and removal defense.
