Deck overview

This deck executes a high-velocity Voltron strategy centered on Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos. By passing Alexios to opponents each upkeep with forced-attack and trample clauses, the commander attacks during every combat step while continuously accumulating +1/+1 counters. Early mana rocks and rituals accelerate Alexios onto the battlefield by Turn 3. On Turn 4, equipment granting evasion, double strike, or indestructible traits turns Alexios into an immediate table-wide clock. Because equipment remains attached even when control of the creature changes, players are forced to inflict lethal commander damage on each other. Redirection spells such as Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend safeguard Alexios against targeted removal. The deck closes games around Turn 6 by stacking commander damage across consecutive turns, using cards like Silent Arbiter and Blood Moon to limit opponents' ability to block or mount counterattacks.
