Deck overview

This Selesnya Human tribal deck is commanded by Kyler, Sigardian Emissary. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Human creatures and mana dorks on the opening turns, casting Kyler on Turn 4, and executing explosive token-generating spells on Turn 5. Cards like Increasing Devotion, Visions of Glory, and Horn of Gondor generate swarms of Humans that trigger Kyler repeatedly, putting massive amounts of +1/+1 counters on the commander. Because Kyler grants a static buff to all other Humans equal to its counter count, even small 1/1 tokens immediately enter as massive lethal threats. The deck protects its wide board with premier phasing spells like Clever Concealment and Guardian of Faith. If Kyler is removed, alternate overrun payoffs such as Moonshaker Cavalry and Overrun allow the token army to finish all three opponents through combat by Turn 6.
