Deck overview

This Grixis deck unites Assassin, Pirate, and Vehicle strategies under Edward Kenway. The primary game plan curves out early with low-cost Pirates and utility Vehicles like Smuggler's Copter and Subterranean Schooner. On turn 5, Edward Kenway enters the battlefield to convert tapped attackers and crewed ships into bursts of Treasure tokens. By turn 6, this surplus mana fuels heavy-hitting threats such as The Thanos-Copter, Gemcutter Buccaneer, or asymmetric board wipes like Blood Money. The deck pressures opponents through evasive aerial attacks while exiling and casting cards from opposing libraries. In addition to combat-based attrition, the list features the compact infinite combo of Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Glint-Horn Buccaneer to close out stalled games. Premium defensive spells such as Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Conqueror's Flail safeguard key operational turns against opposing disruption.
