Deck overview

This deck is a focused Boros spellslinger strategy commanded by Feather, the Redeemed. The primary game plan revolves around casting cheap one-mana instant and sorcery cantrips and protection spells targeting your own creatures. Feather exiles these spells upon resolution and returns them to your hand at each end step, turning single-use combat tricks into an inexhaustible card advantage and protection loop. The deck accelerates in the early turns using efficient mana rocks, deploys Feather on Turn 3 or 4 with protective mana open, and then layers in spellcraft pingers like Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer, and Kessig Flamebreather. Alternatively, explosive combat buffs like Fists of Flame, Unleash Fury, and Temur Battle Rage enable rapid commander damage eliminations. Secondary copy engines such as Zada, Hedron Grinder and Mirrorwing Dragon transform single-target cantrips into massive board-wide draw and pump bursts.
