Deck overview

This Bant deck leverages Arcades, the Strategist to convert cheap, high-toughness defender creatures into efficient beaters and repeatable card draw engines. In the early turns, low-cost walls and ramp dorks establish board presence and generate large mana reserves through cards like Overgrown Battlement and Axebane Guardian. Once Arcades enters on Turn 4, every subsequent wall replaces itself while contributing 4 to 7 combat damage. The deck breaks parity on board wipes using asymmetric sweepers like Slaughter the Strong, Fell the Mighty, and Wave of Reckoning, which obliterate high-power opposing creatures while leaving the low-power wall army untouched.
