Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Eldrazi kindred strategy commanded by Azlask, the Swelling Scourge. The primary game plan focuses on generating large swarms of Eldrazi Scion and Eldrazi Spawn tokens using low-to-mid-curve engines like Writhing Chrysalis, Awakening Zone, and Path of Annihilation. Sacrificing these tokens accelerates mana production and builds experience counters on the player. Once mana-fixing pieces or five-color conversion engines like Enduring Vitality and Chromatic Lantern are established, the deck activates Azlask's WUBRG ability to grant all creatures massive +X/+X stat boosts while giving Scions and Spawns indestructible and annihilator 1. This enables overwhelming combat swings that simultaneously eliminate players and wipe defending permanents. As a backup plan, the deck leverages colorless ramp lands and cost reducers to cast game-ending Eldrazi titans such as Kozilek, the Broken Reality and Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, reinforced by asymmetric wipes like All Is Dust and Ugin's Binding.
