Deck overview

This mono-red Dragon tribal deck harnesses cost-reduction ramp and high-impact aerial threats to overwhelm opponents through evasive combat and scalable burn. Led by Lathliss, Dragon Queen, the game plan focuses on deploying early acceleration such as Dragonspeaker Shaman and Herald's Horn to cast Lathliss ahead of curve on Turn 4 or 5. Once established, subsequent Dragon casts generate an army of 5/5 flying Dragon tokens that rapidly multiply board power. Enablers like Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Terror of Mount Velus translate newly entered Dragons into immediate direct damage and double strike bursts. While the deck boasts immense airborne lethality and solid backup bombs in Utvara Hellkite and Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, its heavy reliance on maintaining a wide creature board leaves it vulnerable to mass board wipes, requiring careful resource sequencing.
