Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Dimir spellslinger and tribal aggro-control list built around Lord of the Nazgûl. The strategy accelerates into its 5-CMC commander by Turn 4 using efficient 2-CMC mana rocks and explosive dark rituals. Once the commander resolves, the deck chains cheap 1-mana cantrips, clone spells, and interactive instants to rapidly amass an army of 3/3 black Wraith tokens with menace. Nine copies of Nazgûl provide heavy functional redundancy, repeatedly triggering Ring temptation to pump all Wraiths with +1/+1 counters. The deck defends its board using free and hyper-efficient countermagic like Fierce Guardianship and Force of Will, which double as token creators. It breaks through opposing defenses with asymmetric mass bounce spells like Raise the Palisade and Cyclonic Rift, and gives the entire army evasion through Wonder. Games conclude on Turns 6 to 7 via overwhelming menace combat damage.
