Deck overview

This Grixis deck leverages Doctor Doom, King of Latveria to turn discard into direct life loss and steady card selection. Low-cost mana rocks and rituals deploy Doctor Doom by Turn 4. At the start of combat, Doctor Doom targets himself to connive, looting through the library and draining two life from each opponent whenever a land is discarded. This engine supports a fast A+B combo finish centered on Glint-Horn Buccaneer or Brallin, Skyshark Rider paired with Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout. Once assembled on Turn 5, discarding a card triggers an unbroken loop of damage and card draw that eliminates all three opponents in a single turn. Powerful wheels like Windfall and recursive tools like Underworld Breach provide explosive card flow and alternate storm finishes. The deck protects its combo turns with Deflecting Swat, Swan Song, and flexible counterspells while disrupting opposing boards with Cyclonic Rift and Resculpt.
