Deck overview

This Golgari deck, helmed by The Serpent Society, is a focused deathtouch-and-poison strategy built on a budget. The game plan is to deploy a swarm of creatures with deathtouch, turn them into poison-delivery systems via Fynn, the Fangbearer, and accelerate the clock with proliferation effects. The commander itself provides a powerful edict trigger whenever a deathtouch creature dies, forcing opponents to sacrifice nontoken creatures and acting as a board-control valve. The deck also includes a robust removal suite for artifacts and enchantments, capitalizing on the user's meta where enchantments are rarely answered. With no infinite combos, wins come through incremental combat damage and poison counter accumulation, supported by modest recursion and card draw engines. The primary win condition is reaching ten poison counters on each opponent, with Blood Artist and Poison-Tip Archer providing a secondary drain route.
