Deck overview

This mono-black deck is a high-velocity cEDH turbo combo build engineered to achieve rapid, decisive victories via explosive card advantage and compact infinite drain loops. While Super Shredder occupies the command zone providing incidental pressure and counter growth from dying permanents, the core power lies in the 99. The deck leverages format-ceiling acceleration—including Dark Ritual, Mana Vault, Chrome Mox, and Culling the Weak—alongside premier unconditional tutors like Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, and Imperial Seal to deploy game-ending engines by Turn 3. Its primary win conditions revolve around Ad Nauseam burst turns, Bolas's Citadel loops with Sensei's Divining Top and Aetherflux Reservoir, and the two-card infinite combo of Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose (or Bloodthirsty Conqueror). The deck exhibits exceptional recovery through Yawgmoth's Will and reanimation spells, though its reliance on permanent-based combos leaves it open to well-timed instant disruption.
