Format: Commander

Commander: Dina, Soul Steeper

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Dina, Soul Steeper is a low-to-the-ground Golgari combo-reanimator deck. The commander is mainly a combo piece: she turns life gain into opponent life loss, pairing with Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror to make a repeatable drain-loop. Reanimation and graveyard setup are the second major engine, letting cheap tutors convert Entomb, Protean Hulk, and Kiki-style pieces into a finish. The independent Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Walking Ballista line gives the deck a way to win while Dina is unavailable. There is no hidden double-faced or alternate commander; this list is built around Dina as the principal combo face and a secondary win route in Mikaeus.
