Deck overview

This deck is commanded by The Astonishing Ant-Man, leveraging Simic card draw velocity to steadily place +1/+1 counters on the commander before converting them into a wide army of 1/1 Insect tokens. The early game establishes consistent mana and deploys Ant-Man on turn 2, followed by cheap draw spells such as Quick Study, Harmonized Trio // Brainstorm, and April O'Neil, Hacktivist to fuel rapid counter growth. Once a swarm is generated, utility permanents like Jaheira, Friend of the Forest convert tokens into massive mana generation, while Opposition allows the deck to tap down opposing attackers and mana bases. Victory is achieved through wide combat overruns utilizing Overrun, For the Common Good, and World War Hulk, or by overwhelming the board with large alternate token threats like Deekah, Fractal Theorist and Ezuri's Predation. The deck balances offensive swarm potential with interactive countermagic and bounce spells.
