Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Rakdos aristocrats and burst-damage engine helmed by Juri, Master of the Revue. The strategy focuses on deploying low-cost sacrifice outlets, recurring creature token producers, and Treasure generators to rapidly stack +1/+1 counters on Juri. As permanents leave the battlefield, Juri grows into an immense threat that pressures life totals through combat, burst spells like Fling and Tainted Strike, and death-trigger burn. Backing this aggressive core is a robust card-draw engine featuring Skullclamp, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, and Necropotence, ensuring a continuous flow of resources. The deck protects its primary threats with efficient redirection and ward effects like Deflecting Swat, Bolt Bend, and Hexing Squelcher, while disrupting opponents with free removal such as Deadly Rollick and Snuff Out. Even if Juri is answered, independent drain engines and heavy reanimation targets provide resilient alternate routes to victory.
