Deck overview

This deck is an Esper control and big-mana strategy built around Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. Its central game plan accelerates mana through artifacts like Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, and rituals to cast Yennett on Turn 4. The deck utilizes precise topdeck sculpting via Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Aqueous Form to guarantee that Yennett's Turn 5 attack trigger reveals high-impact odd-mana spells. By casting bombs such as Void Winnower, Toxrill, the Corrosive, Breach the Multiverse, and Expropriate for free, it creates asymmetric board locks and massive tempo advantages. While the list includes an alternate win condition in Laboratory Maniac with Demonic Consultation or Doomsday, it primarily wins through overwhelming combat damage and severe board suppression. The deck features potent proactive stax and reactive interaction, though it remains vulnerable to well-timed removal targeting Yennett before its first attack.
