Marit Lage Needs a Friend (BUDGET) by Wabookie

Format: Commander

Commander: Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Sultai lands deck leverages Ikra Shidiqi and Sakashima as color enablers and utility engines while focusing entirely on assembling Dark Depths combos. The deck utilizes an extensive land-tutor package alongside counter-removal tech like Vampire Hexmage, Mutated Cultist, and Thespian Stage to produce an early Marit Lage token. With Sakashima removing the legend rule and copy effects like Mirage Mirror, Impossible Man, and Full Flowering duplicating tokens, the deck aims to overpower opponents with indestructible 20/20 flying avatars. Secondary lines involve turning massive tokens into instant lethality through Rite of Consumption or granting haste with Concordant Crossroads.
