Format: Commander

Commander: Jon Irenicus, Shattered One

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck executes a malicious gift strategy led by Jon Irenicus, Shattered One. The primary game plan is to cast severe symmetrical or drawback creatures and donate them to opponents on your end step. Jon makes these threats goaded, buffs their power, and prevents opponents from sacrificing them. As opponents are forced to attack each other with massive, harmful threats, you draw cards whenever those creatures attack. The deck closes games by grinding down enemy life totals, deploying devastating lock pieces like Steel Golem or Grid Monitor to shut down opponents completely, and finishing remaining players with combat damage, Reins of Power, or a large Torment of Hailfire.
