Format: Commander

Commander: Hazel of the Rootbloom

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Hazel of the Rootbloom is a Squirrel-token engine that doubles Squirrels every end step and turns them into mana. The primary plan is to build a wide Squirrel board early, use Hazel to tap those tokens for mana, and feed either repeated activations of The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl or a Chatterfang/Pitiless Plunderer loop. Secondary paths drain the table with Mirkwood Bats, Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Bastion of Remembrance, then finish with Chitterspitter pumps, Banner of Kinship, or Beastmaster Ascension. There is no hidden or double-faced commander; the deck is built around Hazel, but none of its registered combos require her.
