Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green typal stompy build helmed by Beorn the Fierce. The primary strategy focuses on deploying low-cost ramp and early Bears or shapeshifters during the opening turns, establishing a solid board presence before casting Beorn on Turn 4. Upon entering combat, Beorn grants trample counters, turns non-Bears into Bears, and provides a continuous flow of two extra cards per turn while providing a static +2/+2 anthem. The deck transitions into lethal must-answer states on Turn 5 and Turn 6 by leveraging explosive overrun effects like Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, and Unnatural Growth, alongside massive threats such as Ghalta, Primal Hunger and Apex Devastator. A robust suite of instant-speed protection like Heroic Intervention shields key creatures against sweepers, allowing the deck to maintain sustained pressure and close games efficiently.
