Format: Commander

Commander: Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student // Tamiyo, Seasoned Scholar

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Simic control-combo deck is built around Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student // Tamiyo, Seasoned Scholar and aims to flip her quickly into a planeswalker, then use her -3 recursion to loop extra turns and key instants/sorceries. The primary game plan is to deploy Omniscience via Show and Tell, chain infinite extra turns with Capture of Jingzhou and Temporal Manipulation, and win through either poison proliferate (Prologue to Phyresis + Radstorm) or combat damage from large threats like Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath and Hullbreaker Horror. The deck is packed with countermagic-20 counterspells, many free-to protect its fragile but explosive engine. It plays as a high-interaction, draw-heavy deck that can pivot between a fast combo kill and a longer value game.
