Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy spellslinger and burn strategy commanded by Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph. The game plan revolves around Ghyrson's ability to deal 2 additional damage whenever another source deals exactly 1 damage. By filling the 99 with cheap 1-damage pingers like Firebrand Archer and Kessig Flamebreather, every noncreature spell cast deals 3 damage to each opponent. Additionally, 1-mana sweepers like End the Festivities and Blazing Volley transform into one-sided board wipes that clear out opposing utility creatures and tokens. Mana generation engines like Birgi, God of Storytelling, Storm-Kiln Artist, and Neheb, the Eternal provide the fuel needed to storm through multiple cantrips and burn spells in a single turn. The deck creates critical table pressure on Turn 5 and eliminates all opponents by Turn 6 through overwhelming direct damage and spell copying.
