Deck overview

This deck pairs the impulse card-advantage engine of Magik, Illyana Rasputin with an aggressive Demon tribal shell. By playing cards from exile, it generates continuous card flow and Treasure velocity through cards like Prosper, Tome-Bound and Keeper of Secrets. Sacrificing permanents transforms Magik into Darkchild, Demon Uncaged, supercharging card selection into guaranteed nonland spells each upkeep. The deck converts this resource surplus into high-impact threats such as Bloodthirster, Vilis, Broker of Blood, and Ardyn, the Usurper, leveraging extra combat steps from Karlach, Fury of Avernus and damage amplification via Fiery Emancipation to overpower opponents. The list thrives on sustained midrange pressure and resilient graveyard recursion, though it remains vulnerable to sweepers and lacks dedicated stack interaction.
