Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros typal strategy commanded by Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. It establishes a board of low-cost Dwarves during the early turns, uses early Equipment and Treasure engines like Magda, Brazen Outlaw and Diamond Pick-Axe to accelerate mana, and deploys Thorin to convert artifact token counts into massive power buffs. With Thorin on the battlefield, every subsequent Dwarf generates additional Treasures while swelling the power of the entire team. The deck applies heavy combat pressure around Turn 5 and closes the game across consecutive attack steps using evasion and overrun effects like Akroma's Will, Shared Animosity, and Taunt from the Rampart. Resilient protection options such as Teferi's Protection and Unbreakable Formation help shield wide boards against sweepers.
