Deck overview

This is a Selesnya tokens-and-lifegain midrange deck helmed by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. The plan is to flood the board with creature tokens, multiply them via populate, and convert every ETB into life through Trostani, Angelic Chorus, and the Soul Sisters package. That life then fuels +1/+1-counter engines (Archangel of Thune, Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn, Nykthos Paragon), enormous finishers like Storm Herd and Soul of Eternity, and alternate kills via Aetherflux Reservoir or Halo Fountain. The deck wins primarily through overwhelming combat after a life-gain snowball, with token doubling from Rhys the Redeemed, Growing Ranks, and Song of the Worldsoul providing the bodies. Trostani accelerates the life total and offers on-demand populate, but the 99 already contains redundant life-gain and token engines, so the strategy is not commander-locked.
