Format: Commander

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lathril, Blade of the Elves leads a Golgari Elf swarm that wins by going wide and converting board presence into damage. The primary plan is to protect Lathril with evasion and hexproof, connect for tokens, then tap ten Elves to drain each opponent for 10, accelerated by token doublers. Secondary paths are one-shot combat with Craterhoof Behemoth or Finale of Devastation for X>=10, and ETB drains from Shaman of the Pack and Skemfar Shadowsage. Lathril is both token engine and outlet but not the sole finisher. Hidden engines are the mana Elves Elvish Archdruid, Marwyn, and Circle of Dreams Druid, plus Seedborn Muse and Quest for Renewal that enable multiple activations.
