Deck overview

This deck executes an aggressive tribal swarm strategy built around Edgar Markov. It leverages high-velocity fast mana and rituals—including Chrome Mox, Lotus Petal, Sol Ring, Dark Ritual, and Jeska's Will—to rapidly deploy low-cost Vampires ahead of curve. Every Vampire spell cast triggers Edgar's Eminence from the command zone, generating free 1/1 Vampire tokens without requiring commander deployment. By Turn 4, the deck deploys Edgar Markov or lords like Bloodline Keeper and Captivating Vampire to convert the swarm into a lethal combat force, initiating critical combat pressure on Turn 5 and closing the game around Turn 7. However, the deck is heavily glass-cannon in nature: it lacks instant-speed protection, contains virtually no reactive removal or stack interaction, and suffers from thin card draw once early ritual acceleration empties the hand.
