Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai aggro-midrange build centered on Sonic the Hedgehog. It leverages creatures with flash and haste to establish early combat momentum. When Sonic attacks, he distributes +1/+1 counters to all attacking flash and haste creatures, steadily growing the board while converting combat damage trades into Treasure tokens. The deck accelerates through early mana rocks and Treasure generators like Captain Lannery Storm and The Reaver Cleaver, deploying threats that scale with repeated attack steps. Finishers include high-impact combat multipliers such as Super State, Knuckles the Echidna, and Windcrag Siege, alongside alternate artifact win conditions in Hellkite Tyrant. Protection spells like The Wandering Rescuer, Take Up the Shield, and Plumecreed Escort shield key attackers from spot removal and board sweepers. While the list lacks fast infinite combos and heavy proactive stax pieces, it excels at sustained combat pressure, flexible instant-speed interaction, and incremental resource accumulation across consecutive turns.
