Sauron, the Dark Lord by LaxDivs

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord is a midrange amass/ring-tempt value deck. The primary plan is to ramp into Sauron early, trigger the Ring tempt repeatedly to discard and draw four, and grow a single Army token into a lethal attacker. Secondary paths use Saruman, the White Hand to amass from every noncreature spell, Lord of the Nazgul to turn instants and sorceries into Wraiths, and Reanimate/Victimize to cheat Sauron, Lord of the Rings into play. The commander is both the card-advantage engine and a 7/6 beater with ward; the hidden backup commander is Sauron, Lord of the Rings, who amasses five on cast, mills, and reanimates.
