Deck overview

This deck pilots the classic Kaalia of the Vast game plan: accelerate to a turn-3 or turn-4 commander, protect her with haste/shroud boots, and then convert each attack trigger into a free, tapped-and-attacking Angel, Demon, or Dragon. The creature suite is a who's-who of the tribe's most impactful bombs - Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Master of Cruelties, Aurelia, the Warleader, Bloodthirster, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight - many of which create combat chains, mana sinks, or immediate life swings. The deck packs a modest tutor package (Demonic Tutor, Demonic Counsel, Splinter's Technique, Rune-Scarred Demon) and a handful of one-shot draw spells to refill. Winning comes from stacking extra combat steps (Aurelia, Bloodthirster, All-Out Assault) to attack multiple opponents in a single turn, or by using Master of Cruelties to drop a player to 1 life and following up with any other damage. A secondary victory condition exists in Liliana's Contract if four different Demons survive.
