Deck overview

This is a Sultai mutate value deck helmed by Otrimi, the Ever-Playful, built to chain mutate triggers and overwhelm through combat damage. The core strategy involves deploying a hexproof or evasive base creature (Silhana Ledgewalker, Slippery Bogle, Venomthrope), then layering mutate spells onto it to generate card draw, ramp, removal, and life drain. Otrimi functions as both a resilient finisher (6/6 trample) and a recursion engine, returning key mutate pieces from the graveyard on combat damage. The deck has no infinite combos; its primary win condition is a stacked, unblockable mutated creature delivering lethal commander damage or general attacks, supplemented by Insatiable Hemophage drain triggers. Secondary paths include Vesuvan Duplimancy copying threats and Auspicious Starrix cheating permanents into play. The suite is slow but durable, with dense single-target protection and a moderate recursion package.
