Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-red Dragon Tribal Stompy list commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The game plan focuses on accelerating mana through dragon-specific cost reducers such as Dragonspeaker Shaman and Dragonlord's Servant to cast high-impact flying threats ahead of curve. Once Lathliss, Dragon Queen enters the battlefield, every subsequent Dragon spell creates an additional 5/5 flying Dragon token. The deck leverages ETB damage triggers from Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Warstorm Surge to control the board and burn opponents directly, while cards like Terror of Mount Velus and Utvara Hellkite rapidly scale total combat power. While the deck boasts high redundancy among its beaters and asymmetric sweepers like Breath Weapon, it has minimal stack interaction, low card-draw throughput, and limited protection against spot removal and exile board wipes.
